Leaked Ballon d’Or Results are Nonsense, Says Football France Editor
The 2021 Ballon d’Or award ceremony is set to take place next month and the name of the winner of the award has been a constant source of speculation with reports emerging that the winner has already been determined.

Argentina icon, Lionel Messi who is being touted as the favorite to win his seventh such honor has if reports are to be believed already won the honor-though such claims have been branded as “bullsh**t” by the editor of France Football.
“That’s a lot of bullsh**t we’ve seen in the past 10 days. A big bluff,” France Football editor, Pascal Ferre told Bild when asked about the speculation.
Messi is widely considered the favorite considering that he was a brilliant form for Barcelona last season, while also playing a key role in helping Argentina win their Copa America title since 1993.
Alongside Messi, Robert Lewandowski is among the favorites to win the award later this month following a prolific 1 month for Bayern Munich and Poland.
A jury of 53 sports journalists is said to have cast their votes around two weeks ago, raising speculations as to who they have opted for.
