Dennis Okari, the renowned NTV investigative reporter, announced the launch of his new program on Instagram stories just days after writing a heartbreaking message to his fans about leaving NTV.

The program named 'The Social Newsroom' will be hosted by him. According to the clip shared on his page, the program aims at telling stories that inspire change in society.

"Every story has a hero and a villain and usually that hero is a regular guy in an ordinary situation doing extraordinary things," Okari narrated.

According to him, the program is set to begin on December 15 at 6:00 p.m. on the podcast, SemaBOXCreatorNetwork.

According to sources privy to this publication, it is speculated that ex-prime time news anchor, Mark Masai will also be featured in the program as one of the clips shared showed him being in the scene.

On December 11, Masai also revealed that he is set to host The Social Newsroom, a show he explained would touch on stories that matter to the people of Kenya and be told in a different way.

"It has always been about the who, what, where, when, why, and how. But in the times we are living in, there is a big so what? To the new way of doing things, finding meaning in what we experience, and finding stories that matter to us. Welcome to the future!" Masai stated.

This program also comes days after Mark Masai was fired by the Nation media. Earlier, the media personality stated that there was a need for a conversation about human resources and how operations can be managed better.

He also stated that the NTV Kenyan was a great team and he enjoyed being part of it.

"NTV Kenya is a great team! These are different times. Was a great show. Time for short a commercial break. I'll be back! #FadeToBlack #StayTuned," Mark tweeted.
