Trouble As Nairobi Actress Fails to Offset the Bill
A Nairobi popular Actress, Diana Clara Ojenge aka Mishi Dorah has appeared before a Kibera Court where she was charged with failure to pay after drinking and eating over Kshs. 150,000 at a restaurant.

Diana Clara Ojenge is a well-known actress who has appeared in shows such as Nairobi Diaries and others.
Ms. Ojenge was partying with a group of friends at Golden Ice Bistro at Nextgen Mall in South C on Mombasa Road on the night of May 26th and the morning of May 27th.
She is said to have ordered Belaire Luxe 750ml bottles worth 75,000 Kenya shillings and seven Hennessy VS 750ml bottles worth 70,000 Kenya shillings.
She had previously ordered chicken breasts and other items worth 3,000 shillings before failing to pay the bill, prompting the bar management to seek assistance from the police.
When it came time to pay the bill, she claimed that her bank account had a problem. The restaurant employees escorted her to her home to retrieve money that she did not have.
The actress requested that the bar management should give her until Monday of this week to pay, but she ended up refusing to pick up the phone. She was then reported to the Akila police station, and officers tracked her down and arrested her.

She pleaded for lenient bail and bond terms before principal magistrate Monicah Maroro and denied the charges. On June 16th, the case will be discussed.
