St. Mary's Miambani School In Kitui dormitory burnt down
St. Mary's Miambani Mixed Secondary School in Kitui dormitory burnt to the ground.

Chief Muthoka Kilonzo confirmed the incident saying the dormitory used to accommodate 76 students. Through joint efforts from parents and school neighbors, the fire was put off with only a handful of items salvaged from the fire.No injuries have been reported as investigations into the cause of the fire continue.
This is after CS George Magoha criticized the notoriety cases of arson in schools warning students that serious disciplinary measures would be taken against those found culpable.
