On Wednesday, the case's primary investigator, police officer Keith Robert, informed a Nairobi court that they are now undertaking additional investigations into an offence of destroying evidence involving the naked images and nude films tied to the event.

Detectives believe Linturi played a crucial role in the deletion of the material, according to the officer, and forensic investigation and reconstruction of the evidence on mobile phones is presently underway.

In court filings, the officer stated, "Investigations into the complainant's complaint were handled objectively, conclusively, and in the best interests of justice."

"The requests sought that the application to have the issue before the court be terminated for failure to furnish documents that may not be in our control," according to court papers.

Linturi also requests an abstract from Nanyuki Police Station dated 30th January 2021, as well as naked images and videos taken by the complainant and prosecution witnesses at Maiyani Villas in Nanyuki, where the alleged incident occurred.

Keith, on the other hand, claims that they don't have a copy of the Nanyuki Police Station's abstract.
