Ringleader Of Notorious Gang In Nakuru Arrested
Police in Nakuru have arrested the ringleader of the notorious "Confirm gang" which has been terrorizing the areas’ residents.

In a coordinated operation on Wednesday, officers captured the leader, Dickson Macharia Waithera, aka Deco.
The infamous gang is thought to be responsible for a number of murders and crimes in Nakuru.
A crackdown against members of the feared gang was launched following the death of six women more than two months ago.
Two weeks ago, two victims were beheaded nearby by alleged members of the notorious Confirm gang, they resumed their murdering spree.
Days later, four alleged members of the murderous gang were shot dead by police in Barut, Nakuru West.
According to Nakuru police commander Peter Mwanzo, the suspects were shot after some young men were observed waylaying pedestrians at the side of the road.
The police chief who oversaw the ringleader’s arrest on Wednesday claimed that after increased police operations criminal gangs had moved into the villages.
Since Interior CS Fred Matiang'i initiated the crackdown in late June, around 140 members of the criminal gangs have been detained.
