Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, Namibia, Ghana, Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe will be among the countries where the brand will be available.

According to Rihanna, the launch will be done on May 27 when she is expected to launch the beauty products and many more products thereafter.

Fenty Beauty was among the first makeup companies to offer more than 40 (now 50) foundation shades.

Her luxury cosmetics line's entry into Kenya would take the fight to other luxury brands vying for a piece of the fast-growing multi-billion shilling cosmetics industry.

According to statistics, the African beauty and personal care market is expected to grow by $1.26 billion (Sh144.9 billion) between 2021 and 2025.

Rihanna's beauty company, half of which is owned by the Paris-based group LVMH, is known for its wide range of 50 skin tones, including dark shades for women of color, which were uncommon when it launched in 2017. This elevated it to the forefront of inclusivity in the industry, propelling the singer to enormous wealth.

Her net worth of $1.7 billion (Sh195.5 billion) is due to the success of her cosmetic brand Fenty Beauty, which she co-owns with French luxury retailer LVMH.
