This is because your body was in relaxation mode and now when its time to get back to sleep it needs to jump back into work mode it goes into shock. So it is advised that you start planning for Monday earlier. Go to bed early on Sunday, iron your clothes, and organize your schedule early.

Weekends are a time when people lay back, relax, and are free to do anything they want, and after a tiring week, its a break well deserved. But come Monday you have to start over and most people long for the weekend by Monday.
