President Kenyatta expressed his delight at the completion of the level six facility and its readiness to serve residents during the inaugural ceremony on Friday.

"I am pleased to see that our professionals are providing medical services to the citizens of this area." "Thank you," he expressed his gratitude.

Kenyan lives will be changed if leaders unite and work together, he added.

The hospital, according to President Kenyatta, would function as a reference hospital for the surrounding medical institutes.

He claimed that 19 of the projected 24 facilities have been completed and are treating ordinary Kenyans who cannot afford private healthcare services.

"In the previous two or three years, these hospitals have treated hundreds of thousands of Kenyans."

Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) resurrected the building of the 350-bed hospital in July 2021.

Due to administrative and financial concerns, the hospital's development has been postponed for almost 30 years.

Kenyatta National Hospital will be in charge of the facility.

The hospital's final touches, according to President Kenyatta, would be completed within a month.

He has determined that improving Kenyans' living conditions is critical.

"It's critical to help Kenyans with a variety of health issues. Things like this impact people's lives and help the country thrive."

He has praised the project's founders and vowed to address the issue of sewerage and connecting roadways.

Patient caseloads at KNH have decreased since the new hospital opened, according to the president.

According to NHIF figures, public hospitals have had more patient attendance in the recent year than private hospitals.
