Uhuru Owes Me No Debt- DP RUTO

Deputy President during a church service at Maranatha church Enoosaen Girls grounds Kilgoris Constituency in Narok County on January 31 2021 declared that nobody owes him anything for his 2022 presidential bid.

Deputy President during a church service at Maranatha church Enoosaen Girls grounds Kilgoris Constituency in Narok County  on January 31 2021 declared that nobody owes him anything for his 2022 presidential bid.

In what appeared as a response to Uhuru Kenyatta's speech in Sagana State lodge on Saturday, Ruto agreed that he was not owed anything. He further stated that when he supported the president he did so without any conditions and that he would go to the people directly to seek for his votes.

Ruto stated that the debt he knows is the debt they owe Kenyans and the agenda at the moment should primarily be to deliver the promises they made to Kenyans. Together with the president they should work to unite Kenyans and fulfill their campaign manifestos.

The Dp stated that he has always defended Jubilee's track record  since they owe Kenyans good leadership and development as they were elected jointly. The Dp further advised his rivals that they should not use shortcuts to leadership bt sell their agenda to Kenyans and not rely on tribal arrangements that will divide Kenyans.

He affirmed that he did not ask the president to support him for ten years and that he did not want to rise to the country's leadership based on ethnic mobilization and tribal arrangements.

Narok Governor Evalyn Aruasa argued that the same way the Deputy President seeked votes in 2013 and 2017 by selling their agenda directly to Kenyans is the same way he should and that he doesn't need to be endorsed by anybody.

Kiharu Mp Ndindi Nyoro assured the Dp that majority of Mount Kenya residents are behind him. He added that what was said in Sagana State Lodge did not represent the views of Mount Kenya people.

Mathira Mp Rigathi Gachagua said that the Dp's track record was speaking for itself and that's why his rivals were panicking.
