The Spurs has reportedly made an approach to former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri as they continue with searching for a new manager after they sacked Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho.
Jose Mourinho was sacked from Tottenham on Monday six days before the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City following the underwhelming season.
According to reports by the Copa Italia, Tottenham has contacted Sarri’s representative Fali Ramadani to offer the Italian the job from the beginning of Next Season.
Sarri is desperate to return to coaching having been dismissed by Juventus after a poor performance in the 2019-2020 campaign which saw the being eliminated by Lyon in the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.
The Spurs will face competition from a number of Italia teams who are also in talks with Sarri for a managerial job.
Maurizio Sarri was in charge of Chelsea in the 2018-19 seasons where they won the Europa League title while finishing in the Premier League’s top four.
The coach has had a great career in football and he would fit at Spurs.
