Your cleanliness has got nothing to do with your class. Just be better
Walking into a man's place or environment and finding things carelessly placed has been a topic of concern for overtime now and they are treating it as normal because they are men. Socks left hanging on the chair. Stinking shoes. Wastes thrown anyhow. Pilled up dirty plates. Dusty surfaces. Unspread bed and a foul smell and the list is endless. One can be suffering from any of the above mentioned "diseases" or even all of them. Did I mention 3 weeks clothes including underwears that are waiting for his girlfriend or Mama Fua to come clean?
It's something so sickening and of bad blood you know. It costs nothing to be clean. It costs nothing to be neat but so many men have normalized being dirty not knowing the kind of picture they are painting of themselves. I was recently taking to my neighbors who can't even lift a broom to sweep their own verandah or clean the "community" washroom which doubles as the bathroom and the answer was so simple, "Sisi ni wanaume."Â
After peeing and noticing that some of your urine splashed on the seat of the toilet bowl, why don't you just take a piece of tissue paper and wipe it off then flash it down together with your urine? Leaving your urine not flashed not only leads to an awful smell but also to accumulation of germs hence infection
Manners goes a very long. It doesn't stop at the point where you treat someone with respect, kindness or honesty. It stretches all the way to your eating habits. Are you the type that eats excessively without considering those who are yet to have a share? How do you leave your plate after you're done eating, with food particles all over including the wastes that you removed from your mouth? Kindly, clear your plate and leave it dry instead of the filth you're used to
I have come across men who are so neat, well groomed and their manners up to the point. It doesn't mean that they are less of men and more of women. They made a personal decision to look out for their hygiene. An organized person has the energy and positive mindset that makes them stand out from the rest. They smoothly attend to their duties and they are always successful. Their good smell makes people to always want to give them their time and attention
No, your uncleanliness has got nothing to do with your gender. It's your personal decision to assume your environment is conducive. You're just dirty, lazy and unapologetic unhygienic
