KCSE Results To Be Released Before The Month Ends

Candidates who sat for the 2021 KCSE national examinations will know their results before the end of April.

The marking of the KCSE examination scripts began on April 4, 2022.

The Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha earlier revealed that the KCSE 2021 results will be ready by the end of April.

Prof George Magoha stated that KCSE marking will be done according to tight and precise rules to ensure exam integrity.

The professor also stated that the activity will take place in 35 locations and will be completed in two weeks to allow candidates to transfer to colleges and vocational schools.

Magoha had said so while giving a speech at Kenya High School, where he was inaugurating CBC classrooms

The University Education PS Simon Nabukwesi, while inspecting the distribution of examinations in Nakuru disclosed that the candidates will be joining the university as early as June this year.

"The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) will start placing the candidates in the institutions immediately the KCSE results are released. There will be no waste of time. Candidates will be picked to join universities in early June,” said Mr. Nabukwesi.

The students will be allowed to choose courses through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement (KUCCPS) webpage and those who will be enrolled in colleges and vocational training will report in September.

According to the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC), 831,015 candidates registered in 10,413 centers for the KCSE exam in 2021.
