Outrage In Kisumu As A Young Man Attempts To Rape His Mother
In Kisumu, a 36-year-old man was detained for attempting to rape his mother in Seme.

The alleged event is believed to have occurred in Karao village, Kisumu County Kombewa division Seme Sub-county.
Caleb Okuom, the area chief, confirmed the event, saying he learned of it from one of the village administrators, Martin Omware, who informed him that the accused, Dan Otieno, had assaulted her mother.
He told K24 Digital that Otieno was inebriated when he arrived home and began beating her 56-year-old mother with the goal of raping her.
Okuom told us that Otieno had chased away her wife.
"After the accused arrived home inebriated, he began assaulting and attacking her mother with the aim of raping her," he added.
He went on to say that as soon as he learned of the information, he responded quickly, arresting him and handing him over to the Kombewa police station with the support of local elders.
According to Area OCPD Hellen Rotich, the suspect was detained at the Kombewa police station and will be charged in court on Wednesday.
"For the offence, he will be arraigned before Maseno Law Courts," she stated.
She also denounced the occurrence, describing it as a "curse."
