Njugush Goes Viral With A Satirical Presidential Video.

The comedian addressed concerns affecting the country in the film titled "A Joke as the President," calling out Kenyans and the administration for the current troubles.

From corruption of public finances to weak governance, the comic satirized how lousy leadership was causing millions of Kenyans to suffer.

He also offered suggestions for how he would have dealt with some of the challenges if he had been the Head of State and occupied the residence on the hill.

"Let's start with the land. In our country, this is quite amusing. Every day, we toil to locate a place to build and raise our children, yet on the other hand, there are others who own vast swaths of land."

"What if we subdivide the land and sell it at a set price, earning money to pay off our debts? It's a good joke, I know " he explained.

Njugush answered questions from journalists in the same way he would during regular press conferences, providing his thoughts on the continuing political conversation of'sipangwingwi.'

He warned Kenyans that if people do not wake up and take action against weak leadership in the August 9 elections, they will continue to suffer.

"Unless we (jipanga) plan for ourselves, we (pangwad) will always be caged in by other people's plans," he said.

Following the video's virality, a number of Kenyans turned to social media to praise the comedian's originality and immaculate narration, as well as share their thoughts on the footage.

"If you listen to Njugush's jokes, particularly this one, you'll notice that everything he says makes sense. A wise man! Says the narrator " James Oketch said.

"This is something that people should pay attention to. Is there anything else we need to know? Good people, I believe it is past time for us to put an end to the foolishness in this country! Our votes will be taken into consideration. Something must be done! Njugush, you're welcome! You're stepping up to the plate! Keep up the good work!" Jerry Matthew agreed with me.
