Governor Hassan Joho, MP Babu Owino, Junet Mohammed, Governor Alfred Mutua are among the leaders who featured in the song as part of the Azimio la Umoja coalition.

The song is seen as an attempt to entice young people to vote for Raila Odinga in the presidential election.

On Monday, Bahati shared the new track writing, "I told you this is historic, I took Hon Raila Amolo to the studio for the first time and we recorded the collabo of the year."

The musician has lavished adulation on the presidential aspirant, listing the accomplishments and promises he has made if elected president on August 9, 2022.

"Ameshikana na Baba/ Tumekuja kutinga," Bahati sings, "Nimekuja na Baba/ Raila Amolo odinga/ Ni mtoto wa Mathare/ Mtoto wa Tinga.

"We've just released the official song video on YouTube, so jeshi ya Bahati na Jeshi ya baba subscribe and enjoy," he added.

Within the first hour of its release, the video had received over 10,000 views.

Raila now has two hits under his belt, the first of which was a cameo in Emmanuel Musindi's 'Leo ni Leo remix.'

Raila performed alongside the Luhya star in front of a team of backing dancers in the remix, which was released on February 12.

The popular track, originally dubbed 'Lelo ni Lelo' (Today is Today), has been incorporated in Odinga's campaign rallies as he travels the country to promote his August presidential challenge.

The new song, like the 'Vijana, fire!' refrain, might end up on Odinga's campaign playlist, as could the 'Vijana, fire!' refrain, which he has stated is a metaphor for telling the youth to vote.
