Equity Bank recieves felicitations after being ranked among the top ten best performing financial services in Kenya. It has been crowned the strongest bank with a Brand Strength Index score of 92.4 out of 100 with an elite AAA+ making a total of 1.6 points BSI improvement from the previous year.
The Kenyan based financial service bank has recorded a growth in brand value of Ksh.69bn from Ksh.44bn. This rise increases it with 47 positions to 291 from 338 in 2022.
" We are delighted that Equity has once again been recognized as one of the strongest banking brands in the world by Brand Finance. We are exited that 4 of the top 10 banks are from the African continent and that in a span of 1 year, the Bank`s brand band has ascended by 37% and improved its ranking inching, one step closer to the first position globaly," James Mwangi said.
