Students from Maseno University protest after their students were injured on Monday`s Mass action

A third year from Maseno University was shot dead from the Monday Mass action organized by Azimio la Umoja. Fellow students of William Mayange took it to the streets expressing their decries but were dispesed by the police.
The police, in their defence say that they were forced to shoot after they ran out of teargas. William was shot on his neck and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Coptic Hospital.
His classmates have however given a different account, stating that William was not part of the protestors They claim that he was cought up in the commotion and that he was in class till 12 noon.
