Man Charged For Defiling 13-Year Old Daughter

The girl was his stepdaughter, and the incident is said to have taken place between March and June 17, 2020. He was paying the girl’s school fees and was living with her and the mother in Kasarani.

The caretaker appeared before Milimani Principal Magistrate Gilbert Shikwe and denied the allegations against him. He said he had asked his wife to warn their teenage daughter against getting home late from school.

"I had told my wife to caution our daughter, who was in Class 7 at (redacted) primary school, against coming home late from school," he said.

The girl, who is now nursing twins, presented the court with a graphic narration of the events. She revealed that the suspect had threatened to end her life if she spoke a word of the abuse to her mother.

The mother was the one who found out about her daughter’s state when she noticed her difficulty in bending while handing clothes to dry. She used a pregnancy test to confirm her fears and confronted the girl on the issue. She took the girl to the hospital and later reported the incident to the Kasarani police station.

The suspect has built a case against the accused. His denial of the allegations will see him get a custodial prison sentence after he gets convicted. He is being charged for repeatedly defiling his underage stepdaughter. The case is still ongoing, with closing submissions on March 25.
