LSK President Nelson Havi has been arrested at his office in Nairobi over assault allegations.

Havi who is accused of assaulting CEO Mercy Wambua was taken to DCI headquarters for questioning on Tuesday, 13th July.

The LSK President on Monday allegedly injured Wambua at their Gatanga Road-based offices during a meeting.

Havi had been previously asked by the police to present himself but he did not respond.

He dismissed the claims saying Wambua forced her way into the boardroom while they were having a meeting with the intention of recording the proceedings.

A police report at Muthangari station under OB number is 34/12/7/2021 however shows Wambua reported her right arm and finger were hurt during a scuffle that erupted during the heated meeting.
