Liverpool's Thiago Alcantara is injured, again!!

The Spanish midfield maestro was replaced after 62 minutes after he picked up an injury on Saturday in a comfortable 3-0 win against Crystal Palace, and the Red's assistant has assured that the 30 years old will miss at least the clashes against Norwich City(Carabao Cup) on Tuesday and Brentford on the weekend. 

"I can't say now how long it will take, but not Tuesday and not the weekend. A shame as well because he was taking the game [against Palace] by the hand, he was a proper playmaker, in my opinion, A shame that we miss him," said Pep Lijnders.

The six-time European champions secured their fourth win of the season through Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, and Naby Keita.

Thiago, who has netted once this season, only adds to Liverpool woes alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold, who missed Saturday's game through illness is also set to be absent at Norwich and Roberto Firmino. Firmino has missed three games due to a hamstring injury. However, he has resumed training.

Liverpool, who currently sit second in the premier league standings after five outings, aim to continue their fine form in the two away trips to stay alive in the league cup competition and pressure on Chelsea, respectively.
