LIVE: Chris Kirubi`s Memorial Service is Underway
The Memorial Service for Fallen renowned Kenya`s businessman and Industrialist Chris Kirubi is underway. Dr. Kirubi will be buried at his Thika farm on Saturday, June 19.
Christine Juma The funeral service is taking place at Faith Evangelistic Ministry (FEM) church in Karen, Nairobi.
The businessman died on Monday aged 80 at his home after a long battle with cancer of the colon.
President Uhuru Kenyatta among other leaders mourned Kirubi as a successful mentor and coach who helped raise a generation of entrepreneurs and corporate leaders.
He was a director at Centum Investment Company and the largest individual shareholder of the conglomerate. He was also the chairman of Brand Kenya, DHL Express Kenya Limited, Haco Industries Kenya Limited, Kiruma International Limited, International House Limited, Nairobi Bottlers Limited, Sandvik East Africa Limited, and 98.4 Capital FM.
