Welcome to this story series titled Creative Mess! If you're reading this, it's highly likely that this series has been written for you. So make sure to follow along as I post every Thursday.  Yes, Thursday, odd day don't you think? It's not the middle of the week neither is it exactly the weekend. And that is probably why I'm choosing Thursday. Let us explore the world of the creative mess and or messes.

Okay, give me a minute I'd like to gather my thoughts. As I'm writing this, I'm listening to an album by Chronixx, Rasta-yuts! Yet again the day before yesterday I was hooked onto Latino songs dancing away because I probably, maybe, highly-likely do not have a single stiff bone in my body. (Whether or not I have two left feet is a secret I would very much so like to preserve). Now, I don't know if I can call this diversity, so you be the judge of that, but I also listen to a bit of Asian music. I might not understand everything said in the song, even the French lyrics, but music has a way of speaking to our subconscious and past it.

Now let me get to my point, why would I say that having a broad taste in music is a creative mess? Well, probably because not many people can identify a wide range of genres as their kinda music. Such diversity gives the listener a chance to acknowledge and identify with different cultures and ideologies. And that my friend is pure gold. Especially for a creative. Most have a main genre they like and they leave room for the exploration of different voices and different noises.

My Grammarly account is now detecting a tone of worry and formality in this text and I just think that's funny. Okay, this is just the beginning of this series. Let me not bore you with too many unnecessary details. See you guys next Thursday.
