Knec directive on 2021 KCPE,KCSE Exams

The Kenya National Examinations Council has announced measures that they are undertaking to ensure the KCSE and KCPe exams are done according to the ministry's timetable. David Njeng'ere KNEC'S CEO confirmed that teachers have already started being trained on how to mark exams.

 Primary school teachers will be trained as examiners in English Composition and Kiswahili Insha, while secondary school teachers will be trained for English, Kiswahili, Biology, Chemistry, History and Government, Agriculture, and CRE. The government also assured that covid rules will be observed.

According to the Ministry of Education, the KCPE exam will be taken between March 4, 2022, and March 9, 2022. KCSE examinations, on the other hand, will take place between February 28, 2022, and April 1, 2022.

Njeng'ere announced that 1,225,693 candidates have registered for KCPE whereas 831,026 have registered for KCSE exams this year.
