Kirinyaga Man Attempts Suicide After Stabbing Daughter To Death
On Monday night a man in Kirinyaga County stabbed her daughter to death and attempted to take his own life afterward.

The man has shocked people by stabbing her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter to death following domestic disputes with his wife.
His wife, Grace Wanjiku had asked him for Sh 2,000 to pay house rent, a request that aggravated the man, leading him to murder his daughter.
The daughter, Abigail Murugi was stabbed several times with a kitchen knife and dies on the spot.
"After murdering the child, he attempted suicide by cutting his throat," the wife explained.
The suspect was transported to Kerugoya Referral Hospital after the incident but his condition worsened and has to be transferred to Othaya Hospital in Nyeri.
Mathew Mang’ira the Kirinyaga County Police Commander said that the man will be charged with murder and attempted suicide.
The police also managed to find the murder weapon used by the suspect.
The police chief advised parents to communicate with each other when having a dispute on domestic issues.
