It is believed that the woman might have breathed her last during the botched operation.

According to her Kenyan based husband, Abdulrazik Juma, claimed that his wife, Rose Atieno, had called him while in distress to inform him that she had been forced by her employer to have surgery to remove one of her kidneys so that it could be donated to a sick family member.

"l was unable to reach her for over three days. Her mobile phone had been switched off and five days later, she called me with a different number and told me that she had been kidnapped and was being held at a local hospital against her will to donate her kidney," he said.

Juma asserts that after a while, she stopped hearing from his wife, and a friend told him that she had passed away in a hospital after supposedly falling off a ladder while washing windows at her employer's home, Juma claims that she had not heard from his wife later on.

Atieno`s body arrived in the country on Tuesday 27th evening, a move that was confirmed by Juma and other family friends.

"When the body arrived in the country and was taken home for the night vigil l had time to mourn my wife and looked closely at her body and found surgical healing marks on her stomach prove enough that she was operated on before she died in unclear circumstances," he added.

The deceased arrived in Saudi Arabia on May 23, 2022, and was reported to have died on June 7.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
