According to Kajala's statement, she admitted that she had made several mistakes in her life including with her family and friends. She also acknowledged that she had a weakness and that she had made some mistakes.

"Mimi kama mwanamke na binadamu nimeumbwa kupenda na kusamehe pia,ila kwenye hili nastahili kuchekwa, nastahili kubezwa na kudharauliwa pia. Sipo hapa kujitetea wala kutia huruma ni kweli nilifanya makosa na nimeyagundua makosa yangu, mimi siyo mkamilifu. Hakika nimekosea familia yangu, ndugu zangu, na marafiki zangu. Kutenda kosa si kosa, kosa kurudia kosa," Kajala stated.

She further added that she had forgiven her ex and was ready for a new chapter in her life.

"I forgive my X and I’m ready for the next," she added.

This will be the second time that the two have broken up since they began their relationship. Harmonize and Kajala split up in April 2021 after only dating for three months.

Kajala then blocked Harmonize on all platforms following their breakup last year.

Harmonize then dated an Australian girlfriend until the end of last year, when they split up. According to Harmonize, the singer was tired of a long-distance relationship because his Australian girlfriend, Brianna, did not want to settle in Tanzania.

Harmonize later launched an attempt to reconcile and reclaim Kajala after the breakup. Harmonize stated that despite making good music and breaking records, he was unhappy.

I am just trying to express how I feel. Being a celebrity doesn't change anything, I am a real G, I'm a Rasta, I'm a gangster from the ghetto. I am human and I go through a lot," Harmonize stated.

"It's been a year since we separated after some issues. I have been cool but I feel I am not happy," he added.
