The St. John Ambulance reported that some students experienced difficulty in breathing due to smoke inhalation. "Our paramedics have evacuated the serious cases to Nzoia Hospital along Juja Road," updated the ambulance on Twitter. Almost five public secondary schools witnessed fire breakouts across the country last week. It is a matter that has called for thorough investigations as the surge in school fires continues to gather momentum.
