Interpol Joins in Hunting the Killer Of Iten’s Athlete Damaris Mutua .
Police and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have announced that Interpol will be joining in the hunting process for the Female athlete who was Killed in Iten.

The athlete who was identified as Damaris Mutua's decomposing body was discovered at a residence in Lilies Estate, Elgeyo-Marakwet County, on Tuesday, April 19.
The 28-year-old athlete is claimed to have been murdered by the suspect two days before she was discovered at her rented property in Elgeyo-Marakwet County.
The investigation in Iten is being led by Detective Andalo Munga, who has claimed that they would continue to investigate until the perpetrator is arrested and charged.
"We shall use all available legal means to ensure the fugitive suspect is arrested and extradited to Kenya for questioning and subsequent arraignment. We have reasons to believe the suspect is responsible for the heinous crime.Elgey” Munga told reporters.
The suspect, Eskanda Hailermariam, is reported to have fled to Ethiopia after killing Mutua. He was the last person spotted with the long-distance runner, according to reports.
