Students who wish to transfer from their first universities or colleges may do so until August 24. Students wishing to enroll in Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) colleges may do so during the transfer period as well.

“KUCCPS portal will open on Monday, July 25, 2022, for inter-institutional transfer applications for students placed to various universities, colleges, and TVET institutions and end on August 24, 2022,” read the statement from KUCCPS

Students who plan to enroll in universities and colleges in September have the chance to update their applications right now and get admission to their preferred institution.

According to the university's level, different courses have different cut-off points for enrollment therefore students must meet the requirements and cut-off points set by the institutions for the particular courses they are enrolled in order to apply.

Additionally, KUCCPS offers a chance to follow the progress of the transfer application via the portal where applicants can monitor the process of getting their applications approved by the two institutions involved.

Students applying to universities and colleges have the chance to check their application outcomes during the inter-institution transfer window. Students who are unsatisfied with their KUCCPS placement typically request transfers.

A Ksh 1,000 processing fee is required as part of the transfer application process. A pay bill number provided in the portal will be used to send the payment.

A maximum of seven days shall be granted to both the receiving and releasing institutions to accept or reject the transfers. After these seven days have passed, the applicant will have to start the process over.
