The CS has lifted the rule requiring Kenyans to wear facemasks in public places; however, in indoor meetings, wearing facemasks will be required.

However, it's not a crime to wear the mask, as people can still wear them. All meetings and gatherings resume normal, and even the church services resume normally with full capacity.

Kenyans have also been encouraged to go for vaccines as a way of protecting themselves. Fans are also allowed in the stadiums during games.

Kagwe also stated that the measures can still be imposed again depending on the health situation in the country.
