Fantasy Football Game Week 6 Tips

Games are coming fast and Fantasy Managers have to be on their toes with the dip in the form of your favorite players from the previous seasons and the inconsistency of all the big teams. But we have to start with the Man City striker Erling Haaland.

Fantasy Football Game Week 6 Tips

Owners of Erling Haaland must decide whether to make him the team captain for Manchester City's trip to Aston Villa because Champions League play will resume the following week.

Owners of teams without Erling Haaland must decide whether to make an immediate effort to sign him, keeping in mind the same considerations.

Will Pep Guardiola start his best center-forward again and see how much damage he can in another hour or so of play before the game in Sevilla on Wednesday?

Experienced fantasy football managers are well aware that it is impossible to predict Guardiola's team decisions. But for what it's worth, even if Mohamed Salah hasn't scored in his last two games, I'm leaning toward awarding him the captain's armband for this weekend's Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

Guardiola has already warned us this season that Haaland will not start every game with fixtures every three or four days, so it appears to be the safer bet. However, Salah appeared to be the safer bet in Game week 5 and was outscored by 14 points if you captained one over the other.

Erling Haaland of Manchester City. Can you afford to choose Erling Haaland instead?

The basic line is that, whether it's this week or next, you need Haaland on your squad. Even if he is coming off the bench, he can quickly score a pair of goals for you. The double points will just go to your vice-captain if he doesn't come off the bench as your captain

.While there are other candidates for the captaincy, Haaland and Salah will undoubtedly be the most popular, along with Harry Kane for Tottenham's match at home against Fulham and perhaps Kevin de Bruyne after he rested for the majority of Wednesday's game against Nottingham Forest.

With rotation becoming more likely, it could be worthwhile to strengthen your team if you can. That means you should build up your reserves and possibly forego this week's luxury transfer in favor of one that is more pressing.

Given that their next four games are against Leeds, Fulham, Leicester, and Aston Villa, it could be worthwhile to seek among the ranks of Nottingham Forest another first-half replacement. Fulham's Andreas Pereira is currently proving to be a great first-half replacement this season.

More than a quarter of the managers in the game already own Neco Williams (£4.1m), and Jesse Lingard (£5.8m) and Morgan Gibbs-White (£5.5m) appear to be solid, attacking options in midfield. However, if you already own Gabriel Jesus and one of Erling Haaland or Harry Kane, the strikers will likely be too expensive for you.

If you don't already own Gabriel Martinelli, this is the obvious upgrade at £6.4 million. If you have a little more money to spend, Wilfried Zaha (£7.1m) could be your man, even though Crystal Palace's fixtures aren't the best over the next few weeks. It doesn't seem to matter whom Zaha and Palace face at the moment in terms of points scored - and he adds value as their penalty taker as well.
