Ex-Nairobi County Speaker Ole Magelo is Dead
President Kenyatta led Kenyans in grieving the deceased, terming him as a devoted state officer.

Nairobians on Saturday woke up to the sad news of the City county's former Speaker Ole Magelo's demise.
According to the sources, Magelo succumbed last night (Friday) in a City hospital. President Kenyatta on Saturday (today) led Kenyans in mourning the late.
Kenyatta mourned Magelo as a devoted leader wh9o always gave his full strength for the sake of the nation. The president further noted how Magelo's devotion saw him being appointed as a Kenya Leather Development Council member in 2020.
"I have known the late Ole Magelo for a long time and from my interactions with him, I came to appreciate his commitment and desire to make life better for others," stated part of Kenyatta's eulogy.
Far from politics, Magelo loved sports. He reportedly mentored many young souls through sports. He at one time served as AFC Leopards football club Chairman.
