At around 2.30 a.m., Takeoff was fatally shot at a bowling alley in Houston where he and Quavo were playing dice; Takeoff was pronounced dead at the scene. Quavo was unharmed, while two other people on the premises were shot and taken to the hospital.

During the live Instagram session, Desiigner shared the news as he got very emotional about the saddening loss of a fellow rapper.

"I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I can't live like this anymore," Desiigner cried.

His fans went ahead to console him not to leave the rap game and to be strong for his fellow rap friend. Desiigner went ahead to share the news on his Instagram post that read "I'm done rap".

The 'Panda' hitmaker was close to the Migos camp and worked on several projects with Quavo, including the Good Music compilation "Champions" and Rich the Kid's "Going."

Many American rappers have lost their lives mysteriously and this could be one of the reasons why Desiigner has opted to quit the rap game so as to remain alive.
