Maize Floor Set To Drop to Ksh.120 by next week

A New Hope To Kenyans
President William Ruto

President William Ruto has made a promise to drop the prices of maize floor as early as next week. While speaking in Machakos, Ruto said that the imported  maize is set to land in the countrythis weekend.

The price of maize floor is currrently at Ksh.200 to Ksh.250.

The president said that he understands the high costs of living and that he is going to do everything in his power to make things work. His announcements come barely a month after Agriculture CS Mithika Linturi announced a massive drop on the prices of Unga. Ruto promises to balance between local and imported flour.

The drop in prizes of maize floor and electricity prices is among the top agenda on the awaited bipartisan talks between the government and the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party.

The announcement seem to have shed light to Kenyans, giving them relief on the heavy burden of high costs of living.

On the same note, salt price is expected to rise tiday. Salt is among the comodities whose prices barely change.
